A free tool for stamping your photos with information

PhotoStamper allows you to put text data into your actual photo rather than into the photo’s meta data. It imprints text information onto your image. It is best used for cataloguing or sorting rather than for display purposes.

Remind yourself what your images are all about

PhotoStamper allows you to stamp text information directly into your images. For example, you may like to document a trip by stamping your location at the top of each photo. Alternatively, you may like to stamp the time, date and even the GPS location onto your photo images. Even though the stamped image is saved as a new file, you should always back up your images because a crash may corrupt your photo images.

Simple to work and easy to use

PhotoStamper is not an advanced tool. You discover your photo via the app on your device, and then enter the data into the empty slots situated above the photo to have it appear on your image. The information is stamped onto your photo, you click to confirm, and a copy of your image is saved with the information stamped onto it. If you are looking to sort your images, or you have many images and would like some way to remember which is which, then this stamping tool offers a quick and easy solution to your image-sorting problem.

PROS

  • Free and very easy to use
  • An efficient tool

CONS

  • You have little choice as to where your stamp goes
  • Stamping the GPS location is mostly useless
